Mission
Although we function as a business, we see ourselves primarily as a ministry. It is our goal to play our part in Christ’s commission to make disciples of all nations. That means we exist to support churches and ministries committed to Jesus Christ as part of the Trinity come to bridge humanity’s broken relationship with God. As such, we reserve the right to reject or discontinue service to any organization whose purpose or view of Jesus varies from this.
Privacy
Churchteams respects and protects the privacy of our users. The information Churchteams collects for a church or organization belongs to that church or organization.
Information imported or input into the Churchteams database is used solely for the purposes of that church or organization. Any other use requires consent by both the church/organization and individuals within the church/organization.
Organization contact and free trial email addresses may be sent emails from Churchteams relating to new features and services periodically.
Any change to the policy regarding the use of your data will be communicated via both email and U.S. mail to the organization’s contact person listed in a Churchteams account at least 30 days prior to the change taking place.
Security
At Churchteams protecting your personal information through online security is of the utmost importance. We use Extended Validation SSL/TLS certificates and encryption is required when accessing Churchteams. We disable older SSL protocols and ciphers that have been proven to have weaknesses. Nine security levels are available to limit accessibility to the use of personal and group data according to the responsibility of individuals within the church/organization. Access within the different security levels can be customized according to the preferences of the church/organization.
Churchteams takes the security of our applications and data very seriously and institutes a number of measures described below to ensure the security of the servers, applications, and data.
Our servers are hosted with Microsoft Azure. Database backups are run daily with hourly backups of the log files to support point-in-time recovery if needed. Encrypted copies of those backups are stored onsite as well as offsite for disaster recovery purposes.

For application-level security, we have a variety of protections in our code against SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, directory traversal, and other types of application-level attacks.

Operation
Churchteams reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or discontinue any functionality or features in the Churchteams application and website.
Pricing, Payments, and Service Cancellation
By continuing to use the Churchteams applications, clients agree to fulfill financial obligations for the services as agreed upon when the client signed up. Current pricing for the Service may be obtained by going to the pricing schedule on the site located here. Churchteams reserves the right to change any fees, surcharges, and/or monthly Member fees or to institute new fees at any time.
Should financial obligations not be fulfilled, Churchteams has the right to disable access by that church/organization. Any church/organization desiring to discontinue their subscription to Churchteams should make that intent known by email to Churchteams. Refunds for prepaid services will be given at the sole discretion of Churchteams.
